You Can Now Buy Yourself A Human-Sized Dog Bed
People can now buy human-sized dog beds which claim to 'relieve stress' and provide the 'ultimate napping experience'.
Two university students have developed what they claim is the world's first dog bed for humans, designed to alleviate stress and anxiety whilst providing the 'ultimate napping experience'.
If you've ever felt a slight pang of jealousy watching your furry friends cosy up on their beds, you can now experience the comfort for yourself...
The Plufl was co-founded by Noah Silverman and Yuki Kinoshita from Vancouver, who came up with the idea after becoming friends with the owners of a local coffee shop and their Great Dane, Lady.

The pair noticed Lady's customised dog bed and said they asked themselves: "Why shouldn't people have this too?"
In a promotional video posted to the website, the pair claim the Plufl is 'not only extremely cosy and comfortable, it also makes you feel secure and safe'.
Big enough to fit two people, the human-sized dog bed is made with memory foam, orthopaedic foam and faux fur to provide the ultimate cosy spot for napping. Its high-quality faux fur is also anti-microbial and machine washable.
And if the photos posted to the brand's Instagram page are anything to go by, it really does look like the best possible place to get some much-needed R&R.

It's true that our environment plays a big role in the quality of sleep we get, with sleep.org stating factors including room temperature, light, sounds, scents and bedding can drastically improve our shut-eye.
A stress-free environment on a comfortable mattress means we're more likely to get a better night's sleep and wake up feeling refreshed, so the Plufl really could help to alleviate stress in that way.
Unfortunately, it won't be the cheapest purchase. The human dog bed is estimated to cost a whopping $400 USD/$570 AUD, so it's expensive napping to say the least...
However, there's clearly plenty of interest in the product - the brand's Kickstarter campaign is currently 10 times over their original $25,000 goal.
Sharing a recent post about the campaign's success, the owners wrote: "We're one step closer to revolutionizing your napping experience and it's all thanks to you guys".
