You Can Buy 'Goth Crocs' Covered In Spikes And Chains

If you’ve ever put on a pair of practical, comfortable, adaptable - yet affordable - shoes and wished they had a little more of an element of danger added into the mix, these are probably for you.

Love them or hate them - I’ll admit to being in the ‘love’ camp after a number of years working in kitchens - the humble Croc certainly fulfils a certain niche in the shoe market.

And now that niche just got even nichier after one seller adapted their pair of Crocs into 2019’s must-have Goth accessory.

The unique footwear is being sold on Etsy by HeavyCreamStore, for the eye-watering price of £190, plus an additional £28.30 for shipping (if you’re in the UK).

And it doesn’t end with nickel-plated spikes. Additional chains be added to attach them to your trousers because, you know, you don’t want to lose them once you’ve spent £200 on them do you?

A couple of people did question the safety of the adapted Crocs, but the designer did reply to say they ‘hadn’t gored anyone yet’ - although I wouldn’t imagine they’re great for playing football in, or kicking balloons, or piles of leaves (think of the hedgehogs).
