US Food Chain With Dish You Have To Sign A Waiver To Eat Is Opening 60 UK Stores

An American fast-food chain known for its unique approach to spicy dishes is set to expand into the UK and Ireland with plans to open 60 locations.

The first of these 60 outlets is scheduled to open in London next year.

Backed by celebrities like Drake, Usher, and Samuel L. Jackson, this fast-food chain has a special twist to its offerings.

Dave's Hot Chicken allows diners to choose their spice level - but to tackle one of these levels you must first sign a waiver making it clear you accept the toll it will take on your body.

With seven levels of spiciness to choose from - ranging from 'No Spice' all the way to 'Reaper' (the hottest) - Dave's Hot Chicken caters to all tastebuds, depending on how spicy you like your food...

Those who brave the 'Reaper' spice are made to sign a waiver which reads: "I acknowledge that eating the Reaper can cause me harm, including but not limited to bodily injury, property damage, emotional distress or even death."

So it's fair to say it's not for the faint-hearted...

Not only must diners sign this waiver, they also must be aged 18 or over to even tackle it.

While some over in the US who have already tried the 'Reaper' dish have agreed it'll blow your socks off, others think it's a little over-exaggerated, saying that while it's 'pretty tasty and quite spicy for a chain restaurant', it's 'pretty mild' in comparison to other sauces with Reaper in it.

That being said, if you're someone who doesn't tend to eat much spicy food, it likely will come as a bit of a shock to the system!

While there's no set date for when the first UK branch will open, we can expect it sometime in 2025 - so keep your eyes peeled.
