Who is eligible for a TOTUM membership?

You are eligible to become a TOTUM member if you can verify you are:

• A student aged 16+, or a member of staff at a sixth form school, college or university.

• A current member of a chartered institute, professional body, royal society, trade union or similar membership organisation.

• A recent graduate.

• Academic or support staff at a training provider or professional institute.

• Undertaking an apprenticeship.

• A part-time learner studying for a professional or accredited qualification.

• An employee with a .gov.uk email address.

To access all the great benefits available to TOTUM members, you can register at app.totum.com , select an organisation or community that you are a member of, and then confirm your membership using the options available.

My studies/apprenticeship have ended, am I eligible for TOTUM?

We understand that finances can be tight during the transition from education to employment. That’s why we continue to offer full access to your TOTUM membership and its benefits even after your studies have ended!

If your course or apprenticeship ended within the past five years, you can apply directly at app.totum.com. When prompted to “confirm your organisation” simply enter the name of the institution you studied with previously. Next, select “verify with document” to upload either your graduation certificate or proof of being enrolled on a course or apprenticeship within the past five years.

Already have a TOTUM account? If you're renewing through your former organisation, simply log in when prompted and follow the renewal/account upgrade steps—it's quick and easy.

Are staff eligible for TOTUM?

If you are a member of staff with a TOTUM affiliated organisation, then there’s good news - you’re eligible for a TOTUM membership!

Register today directly at app.totum.com – when prompted to ‘confirm your organisation or community’, enter the organisation you work at and then confirm using either; an academic email address (if available), or a supported document as detailed here.

Are apprentices eligible for TOTUM?

If you’re based in the UK and are undertaking an apprenticeship, then you’re eligible for TOTUM. Sign up here today.
